Volunteering in Sweden

Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program!

First, read what skills we are looking for and see if you match one of them. ❤️

Help fix our fleet of dumpster-dived bikes that need some love.

  • We have 8 bikes with flat tires or small mechanical issues.
  • Tools provided, but bring your own if you have a favorite!

Our Citroën Jumpy needs your skills.

  • If you’re handy with cars, we need help troubleshooting and fixing electrical issues and basic maintenance.
  • Previous experience with vans or DIY car repairs is a huge plus!

Tree chopping, wood stacking, and outdoor building projects.

  • Includes cutting down dead trees, stacking firewood, and assisting in larger outdoor projects.
  • Experience with chainsaws or forestry is helpful but not required – we can guide you!

Tiny house expansion and outdoor builds.

  • We need carpenters (or those eager to learn) to help expand our tiny house and build out communal spaces.
  • Tasks range from building bunk beds to crafting outdoor seating.

We’re upgrading our main house and tiny house.

  • If you’re certified or experienced in electrical work or plumbing, we’d love your help with installations and repairs.
  • Key tasks: lighting, wiring, fixing plumbing issues, and assisting with house upgrades.

Help grow and expand the garden.

  • From planting veggies to keeping the weeds at bay, we need green thumbs to help us maintain the garden.
  • Big goal: expanding the potato field!
  • No experience needed – just a love for plants and getting your hands dirty.

  • We’re looking for someone who loves cooking and can manage the kitchen, creating a welcoming, organized space for everyone.
  • You’ll plan, prep, and cook lunch and dinner for the group—sometimes we’ll have the same meal for both, and that’s okay.
  • Creativity is key here, as many ingredients come from dumpster diving, so you’ll need to be inventive with what we have.
  • You might even make oat milk or butter from scratch!
  • When time allows, you’ll also help with some laundry duties.

Feed the team and fuel the fun.

  • Help prepare lunches, snacks, and dinners for volunteers.
  • We rotate the cooking, so everyone gets a chance to contribute.
  • You’ll assist wherever needed – cleaning, organizing, helping with small repairs, and more.
  • This role is great for someone who loves variety and being part of different projects each day.
  • You can also lead fun activities like game nights!

Photo, video, and website updates.

  • We’re looking for creative people to capture the experience and share it online.
  • Help manage the website, write blogs, or film volunteer life for social media.
